Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. – James 4:8
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. — Phil. 4:6-7
Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Your requests will be forwarded to those church members who are currently part of our prayer chain. We are always encouraged when we hear how God has answered your prayers. Please feel free to share and we will be happy to pass those along as well.
Prayer changes things, it’s the most important thing we do. Join us January 18th at 11:45 in the gym as we launch our new Prayer Ministry here at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship. There will be many new opportunities and places for you to grow and serve. We are taking prayer to a deeper level in all areas to make sure every ministry is covered in prayer, every pastor, so we will have a healthy church.
From learning how to pray and understanding why we pray, to praying for others and breaking bondage in their lives; 2015 is going to be a special and exciting year for prayer here at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship. So, join us for lunch on January 18th as we launch “Prayer 2015”.
Opportunities To Serve Through Prayer
Prayer is the glue that holds everything together. We believe that everything that we do for God should be covered and undergirded with Prayer. Jesus spent many hours in prayer as he lived his life here on the Earth. We should follow His example!
