Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. – James 4:8
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. — Phil. 4:6-7
Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Your requests will be forwarded to those church members who are currently part of our prayer chain. We are always encouraged when we hear how God has answered your prayers. Please feel free to share and we will be happy to pass those along as well.
Heart For Prayer Gathering – Dec. 7th
Prayer is significant and ultimately one of the most important things we will ever do. Pure Heart has grown and we need to expand our prayer ministry. If you have a heart for prayer, join us on December 7th, as we come together and build a better prayer ministry.
There are many areas of prayer that need to expand and new areas of prayer that need to be explored. If you have been called to prayer and have an understanding of the value of prayer, we encourage you to come and help us grow the prayer ministry here at Pure Heart. Without prayer we never reach our fullest potential. Without prayer we sometimes carry unnecessary burdens. Without prayer we sometimes miss the peace and joy that a life in Christ has waiting for us.
Join us November 7th as we come together and take our places in the prayer ministries of Pure Heart Christian Fellowship. Lunch will be provided. Reserve your place at this exciting event today.
Opportunities To Serve Through Prayer
Prayer is the glue that holds everything together. We believe that everything that we do for God should be covered and undergirded with Prayer. Jesus spent many hours in prayer as he lived his life here on the Earth. We should follow His example!
