SERVICE LENGTH
About 60 minutes.
Doors open thirty minutes before each service. We begin on time with a season of worship, move into the message, and close in prayer.
What to expect before you walk through our doors — service times, what happens in a service, and where your kids go.

WHAT TO WEAR
You'll see everything from suits to denim. The Lord looks at the heart, not at outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). Wear whatever helps you feel at home and worship freely.
THE WORSHIP
A live band leads modern worship songs, with lyrics on the screens. The set changes week to week. Standing is welcome but never required — sing, listen, or simply reflect.
THE MESSAGE
One of our pastors teaches from Scripture — some weeks working through a passage verse by verse, other weeks around a story or theme and what the Bible says about it. Either way, the aim is that it is clear and usable in ordinary life.
GIVING
Giving is a response to God’s generosity (2 Corinthians 9:7), not a price of entry. As our guest, please do not feel any obligation. There are giving boxes at the back of the auditorium for those who would like to give.
INTRODUCING YOURSELF
We do not single out first‑time guests or ask anyone to stand. There's a brief moment to greet those seated near you — a simple hello is plenty. The welcome team is available before and after if you'd like to talk.
BRING A BIBLE?
The passages we're studying appear on the screens and in the PHC app, so nothing is required of you. If you'd like a physical Bible to take home, the welcome desk has copies available at no cost.
COMMUNION & BAPTISM
We share communion together on the first Sunday of each month. Baptisms are held on the third Sunday of each month — public services where people declare their faith in Christ. Both are explained from the stage; no obligation as a guest.
No. Plenty of people here are visiting for the first time, or coming back after years away. Our welcome team is there to help, not to single anyone out — you will not be asked to stand, identify yourself, or do anything you would rather not.
Ten to fifteen minutes before the service gives you time to park, check your children in, grab coffee, and find a seat without rushing.
Take them to the kids building before the service — Building 700 at Glendale, or the check-in desk on your left as you enter at Peoria. They are grouped by age and grade, and they worship, learn from the Bible, and play games while you are in the service. If it is your first time, arrive ten or fifteen minutes early so check-in is not a rush.
No. Giving is something our church family does together, and as a guest you are under no obligation at all. If you would like to know more about why we give and how, the giving page covers it.
We believe in one God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that Jesus died for the sins of the world, rose again, and will return; that Scripture is the Word of God and our final authority; and that salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ. Our full statement of beliefs, and the values we try to live by, are on the What We Believe page.
Yes, at both campuses. There is accessible parking near the entrance, designated seating in the auditorium, and accessible restrooms. If there is anything else that would make your visit easier, tell us before you come and we will do what we can.
Yes. Prayer volunteers are at the front of the auditorium after every service — just come forward. You can also send us a prayer request any time, and the prayer page lists our healing prayer sessions and other ways to be prayed for.
