SERVICE LENGTH
About 60 minutes.
Doors open about 25 minutes before each service. We begin each gathering with a time of worship, move into the message, and close in prayer.
What to expect before you walk through our doors: service times, options for your children, and what happens in a service.

DRESS CODE
You'll see everything from suits to denim. The Lord looks at the heart, not at outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7).
THE WORSHIP
A live band leads us in contemporary worship songs and a few classic hymns, with lyrics on the screens. Standing is welcome but never required. Sing, listen, or simply reflect on what's being said.
THE MESSAGE
One of our pastors walks through a section of Scripture and brings it into the context of everyday life. In about 30 minutes, you'll hear biblical truth, practical application, and something meaningful to take with you.
GIVING
Giving is a response to God's generosity (2 Corinthians 9:7), not a price of entry. As our guest, please don't feel any obligation. Boxes are placed at the back of the auditorium for those who wish to give.
INTRODUCING YOURSELF
We do not single out first‑time guests or ask anyone to stand. There's a brief moment to greet those seated near you, and a simple hello is plenty. The welcome team is available at the Connection Hub in the lobby before and after if you'd like to talk.
BRING A BIBLE?
The passages we're studying appear on the screens and in the PHC app, so nothing is required of you. If you'd like a physical Bible to take home, the Connection Hub has copies available at no cost.
COMMUNION & BAPTISM
We share communion together on the second weekend of each month. Baptisms are held on the third Sunday of each month, in public services where people declare their faith in Christ. Both are explained from the stage; no obligation as a guest.
No. A meaningful portion of those who attend Pure Heart each weekend are doing so for the first time, or returning after many years away. Our welcome team is trained to help, not to spotlight. You will not be asked to stand, identify yourself, or do anything you would rather not.
Ten to fifteen minutes before the service gives you time to park, check your children in, and find a seat without rushing.
Take them to the kids building before the service: Building 600 at Glendale, or the check-in desk on your left as you enter at Peoria. They are grouped by age and grade, and they worship, learn from the Bible, and play games while you are in the service. If it is your first time, arrive ten or fifteen minutes early so check-in is not a rush.
No. Giving is something our church community does together, and as a guest you are under no obligation at all. If you would like to know more about why we give and how, the giving page covers it.
We believe in one God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit); that Jesus died for the sins of the world, rose again, and will return; that Scripture is the Word of God and our final authority; and that salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ. Our full statement of beliefs, and the values we try to live by, are on the What We Believe page.
Yes, at both campuses. There is accessible parking near the entrance, designated seating in the auditorium, and accessible restrooms. If there is anything else that would make your visit easier, let us know before you visit and we will do what we can.
Yes. Prayer volunteers are at the front of the auditorium after every service. Just come forward. You can also click on the prayer request link at the top of this page to share your request. Our Prayer Ministry page lists our healing prayer sessions and other ways to be prayed for.
