Support, Encouragement and Healing for the Whole Family

Join us for Monday Healing Night, new to Pure Heart!  Healing and wholeness brings us peace, joy, and greater effectiveness to do the work He has called us to do.
Winter session begins:  January 17th – May 7th, 2012.  Come join our groups at any time!

Men’s Substance and Gambling Addiction:

This group is for men who struggle with a drug, alcohol or gambling addiction.  Are you a man who has lost control of your life due to a drug, alcohol or gambling problem?  Would you like to be part of a group that will help you with the solution?  This open group is for you.  Contact lpioske@pureheart.org for location of group

Women’s Substance and Gambling Addiction:

Women’s Sexual Abuse:

This group is for women who have been sexually abused as a child.  If you desire to live life free from the effects of childhood sexual abuse, or if you have started a journey to heal or need some place to begin, we will help you travel toward emotional and spiritual healing with God.  This group will provide safe support with love and understanding. Codependency and Boundaries:

This group is open to men, women and couples who struggle with boundaries and codependency.  Have you lost your own life because you spend more time thinking about and trying to solve someone else’s problems (addictions etc…)? Do you find it difficult to share what you feel or think and merely “stuff it?”  Do you have difficulty making decisions or saying “NO” because of how someone else may react? Do you feel guilty or always find yourself rescuing others from their problems? Please join us for support, encouragement, tools and skills to help you receive healing. Food Addicts Anonymous:

If you are a person who has

  1. Struggled for years to eat healthy foods and maintain a healthy weight
  2. Binges by eating large quantities of sweets or starches
  3. Purges their body by extreme measures such as vomiting, laxatives or excessive exercise
  4. Limits your intake of foods and have people in your life telling you that you need to eat more

This Twelve Step group believes that food addiction can be managed by abstaining from (eliminating) addictive foods, following a program of sound nutrition (a food plan), and working the Twelve Steps of the program.  After we have gone through a process of withdrawal from addictive foods many of us have experienced miraculous life-style changes.  Facilitated by Dr. Lori Wieters and Todd Chambers in Bldg 600.  For more information contact Lori at faa@pureheart.org

Men’s Sexual Healing: 

This group is for men that desire support and healing from sexual sin (pornography, adultery, sex addiction, lust etc…).   Come join us and experience healing from the secret issues you vowed to take to your grave. Contact lpioske@pureheart.org for location of group

The Landing:

This support group is for 6th grade – 12th grades.  Teens & Tweens are split into age and gender appropriate groups.  This is a place where your Tween and Teen come to talk about their hurts, hang-ups and habits in a safe, caring environment to find out that God loves them and is their constant source of peace and strength through difficult times. The Place:

This support group is for 1st grade – 5th grades.  Children will meet and share about their hurts, hang-ups and habits while learning Biblical truths that help them make healthy choices in their life. Contact lpioske@pureheart.org for location of group
