Connecting

Welcome to the Connecting Ministry, this is the beginning of your journey here at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship. To know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, being baptized and becoming a participating member. There are many opportunities throughout the year to engage in the Connecting Ministry, Baptisms and our “Becoming a Part of the Family” class. Please contact us if you have any questions. The following ministries are a part of Connecting family:

Baptism Team
You are needed in each service to assist during baptisms.  Be a part of this exciting team by helping serve during this meaningful time in a believer’s life!
Volunteer Opportunities: Set up/Tear down, Baptism team, Coordinator

Call Team
Contacts our guests to thank them for visiting with us and answers any questions or concerns they may have.  Must be comfortable on the phone and talking with people.
Volunteer Opportunities: Call volunteers, Coordinator.

Communion Team
Prepares and serves communion corporately once a month.
Volunteer Opportunities: Communion Team member, Team Captain, Coordinator.

Greeter Team
Smiling faces that welcome those arriving for our weekend services. They don’t just hand out bulletins; they prepare people’s hearts for worship with a smile and a touch.
Volunteer Opportunities: Greeter Team volunteers, Team Captain, Coordinator.

Information Center
Available before and after all services to assist guests (and members) with questions regarding Pure Heart, assistance in finding classrooms, etc. In addition, volunteers hand out gift bags (with information packets and other gifts) to guests.

Office Volunteers
Various opportunities to assist church staff with the day-to-day responsibilities.

Parking Lot
Greets people as they are driving onto/off the premises and directs traffic as needed.
Volunteer Opportunities: Parking Lot volunteers, Team Captain, Coordinator.

Membership Team
You are needed in all aspects of assisting in the membership classes.  Be a part of this fun team by welcoming and serving three times a year.

Ushers
Greet all attendees in the sanctuary: helping them find seats, encouraging them, and assisting them in whatever manner possible. Collect and count the tithes and offerings.
