Why Discipleship?

No matter where you are on your journey of faith with Jesus, discipleship is for you!  Discipleship is for those who desire to know what God's Word says.  To learn to trust Him in everything, become like Christ, follow God's leading, share God's love story with others and become equipped to disciple others.

Pure Heart offers a discipleship program that can benefit everyone with a simple mission: "To help you become a Chist-like disciple!"

The Goals of Discipleship:

1. Explain "Salvation"
2. Actively help believers become mature, devoted believers in Christ
3. Building relationships
4. Spiritual multiplication
5. Walking in peace
6. Living for Christ
7. Understanding God's plan for your life

Jesus said, "Go and make disciples (a mature and disciplined Christian) of all nations, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you." - Matthew 28:19-20

Classes Include:

Discipleship Level 1 - The Purple Book: Have you done "The Purple Book"?  This is the first step in discipleship.  It is important for every Christian to have a strong biblical foundation and be able and ready to share their faith.  The Purple Book is offered as a class at 9:15 every Sunday except holidays.  You may join the class at any time.  Contact Pastor Todd tbearce@pureheart.org.

Discipleship Level 2 - Spirit Led Life: The second step in discipleship here at Pure Heart is the "Spirit Led life" class.  This class is designed to help you have an effective prayer life and lear about the Spiritual Gifts that God has set in place for believers. After you have completed "The Purple Book" this is a great class to continue your Christian growth.  "Spirit Led Life" class is offered every Sunday at 9:15 AM. You may join the class at any time.  Contact Pastor Todd tbearce@pureheart.org.
