Mik Milem – Next Generation Pastor – Young Adults
Pastor Mik Milem has served as the Dean of Students at Grand Canyon University since January 2010. Prior to that position he served as the University Pastor at Grand Canyon for 5 ½ years. Pastor Mik has been in full-time ministry for the last 27 years. He spent 17 years as both an Associate and Senior Pastor with the Assemblies of God. Prior to serving in the position of University Pastor, he was on the faculty of Grand Canyon University serving as the Director of the School of Applied Ministry.
Pastor Mik provides leadership to the Office of Campus Life, supporting the services provided to the ground student population of the University. He oversees the offices of Student Life, Community Life, Housing and Spiritual Life, as well as the Student Rec Center and Counseling Center. His charge is to help students discover their purpose, develop their gifts and be deployed for service.
Prior to coming to Grand Canyon University, Pastor Mik served as a School Administrator for a local Christian school in Glendale. Pastor Mik completed his B.A. in Biblical Studies and German from Oral Roberts University in 1981 and his M.A. in Christian Education from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 1984. He has completed doctorate courses in Christian Management and Leadership from Trinity Seminary in Edinburgh, Indiana.
