January 16th – Isaiah 6:5
5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” (NKJV) For further study, Isaiah 6

Prayer Focus: Father, as I look at my life I ask You to help me. I know I am one of unclean lips, please touch my life through Your Holy Spirit; change me that I may serve You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.


January 17th – Matthew 26:39
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” (NKJV) For further study, Matthew 26

Prayer Focus: God, there are things in my life that I would rather pass on and not do, please give me the strength and wisdom to do these things that You have for me to do. I ask this in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.


January 18th – Psalms 32:5
5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah( NKJV) For further study, Psalms 32

Prayer Focus: Lord, I do acknowledge my sin and my Iniquity, I confess them to You now. Please have mercy on me and forgive and cleanse me that I may become strong in You and able to do all that You have called me to. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.


January 19th – Jeremiah 1:6
6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” (NKJV) For further study, Jeremiah 1

Prayer Focus: God, I sometimes feel like “a youth” not able or equipped to do Your work. Help me to learn and study and follow You that I will grow and be able to speak and share the Gospel. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.


January 20th – Luke 5:8
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” (NKJV) For further study, Luke 5

Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, I see myself as Peter saw himself, as an unworthy sinner. Lord, You used Peter to do great things, please teach me and use me to do great things for Your Kingdom. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.


January 21st – 1 Timothy 1:15
15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. (NKJV) For further study, 1 Timothy 1

Prayer Focus: Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ and His work upon the cross, through this I am forgiven and part of Your family. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.


January 22nd – Romans 7:18-19
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. (NKJV) For further study, Romans 7 & 8

Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, help me to do the things I should do and give me the strength not to do the things I should not do. Thank You Lord that You do not give up on me. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
