December 12th – Psalms 40:1
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. (NKJV) For further study, Psalms 40
Prayer Focus: Father, sometimes I don’t wait on You as I should I move ahead in my own knowledge, help me to trust You enough to wait for You to show me the way I should go. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
December 13th – Psalms 27:14
14 Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD! (NKJV) For further study, Psalms 27
Prayer Focus: God, as I look around me at the world, this country, and all that is going on in society it all seems to be getting worse and worse. Please strengthen my heart so that I will have faith and realize that You are in control and Your plans are right and just, and all I need to do is wait on You and trust in You. I ask this in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
December 14th – Proverbs 20:22
22 Do not say, “I will recompense evil”; wait for the LORD, and He will save you. (NKJV) For further study, Proverbs 20
Prayer Focus: Lord, there are times that I don’t want to wait for you to “recompense evil” please grant me patience and Your love toward others and help me not to judge them in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
December 15th – Isaiah 40:31
31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (NKJV) For further study, Isaiah 40
Prayer Focus: Father God, I need my strength renewed and the ability to continue to follow You and minister to those You have put in my path. Help me to wait on You for my strength. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Amen.
December 16th – James 4:10
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (NKJV) For further study, James 4
Prayer Focus: God, help me to wait for You to move me ahead and the wisdom not to make a way for myself ahead of Your plans for me. In Jesus’ name I ask this. Amen.
December 17th – 1 Peter 5:6-7
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (NKJV) For further study, 1 Peter 5
Prayer Focus: Lord, sometimes I feel heavy under the weight of life and it’s cares, please help me to walk in a humble way before You and wait for You to lift me up in the proper time. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son I pray. Amen.
December 18th – Psalms 62:5-7
5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. (NKJV) For further study, Psalms 62
Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, thank You that I can count on You for my salvation and my strength, help me to share my faith with others that do not know You. In the name of Jesus Christ I ask this. Amen.
