November 28th – Luke 4:18-19
18 "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." (NKJV) For further study, Luke 4

Prayer Focus:
Father, place within me Your heart for the poor, brokenhearted, captives, blind and all who are oppressed. I don’t understand all I need to know, teach me so I can help as I should. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.


November 29th – John 14:12-14
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (NKJV) For further study, John 14

Prayer Focus:
Lord, I want to do the things that Jesus did while He was here and even the greater works it speaks of in the scripture passage. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me so that I may do these things. I ask this in the name of Your Son Jesus. Amen.


November 30th – Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV) For further study, Matt. 28

Prayer Focus:
God, help me to fulfill the calling I have as a believer to make disciples and help people come to know what You can do in their lives. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.


December 1st – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (NKJV) For further study, 2 Cor. 1

Prayer Focus:
God, I thank You for all the times You have comforted me. Father, show me how to comfort those that You bring into my life. Help me direct them to You for healing and comfort and may I be a comfort to them through Your Holy Spirit working through me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.


December 2nd – 2 Corinthians 4:14
14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. (NKJV) For further study, 2 Corinthians 4

Prayer Focus:
Father, help me to understand that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead can empower me to do the works that are needed here on earth and that I can count on You to work through me to build Your kingdom. Lord, may Your Spirit lead me in life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.


December 3rd – John 16:13-14
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. (NKJV) For further study, John 16

Prayer Focus:
God, I thank You for Your Spirit and that He will lead me into all truth. Lord, help me not to ignore His voice and His leadings. I want to serve You and be a powerful help to those in need as Your Spirit leads. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.


December 4th – Matthew 10:8
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (NKJV) For further study, Matthew 10

Prayer Focus:
Lord, I see You sending out people to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Show me what my part is in doing these things and grant me the boldness and strength to do what You would have me do in these areas. Move me in Your Spirit’s power. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
