November 14th – Genesis 6:13-14
13 And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. Prayer Focus: Lord, help me to hear Your voice so that even if it is something that I do not understand and I’ve not seen before I will still follow Your instructions. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
November 15th – Genesis 17:10-11
10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; 11 and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you. (NKJV) For further study, Genesis 17
Prayer Focus: Father, thank You that the law has been fulfilled in Your Son Jesus Christ who kept the whole law. Thank You that my belief and trust in Him is my salvation. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
November 16th – John 6:53-58
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (NKJV) For further study, John 6
Prayer Focus: Father, when Your Son Jesus said these things they seemed hard and even improper. Lord, help me to not turn away from You like some did when faced with hard choices in following You. In Jesus’ name I ask this. Amen.
November 17th – Daniel 3:12
12 “There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not paid due regard to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up.” (NKJV) For further study, Daniel 3
Prayer Focus: God, even if it could be the cause of my death please help me follow You as these young men did. I can not do this without Your help and strength; be with me. I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
November 18th – Luke 18:22
22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” (NKJV) For further study, Luke 18
Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, I know that there are things of this world that I am too attached to and hold in my heart too dear; help me to have a change of heart so that I can let everything of this world go and truly follow You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray this. Amen.
November 19th – Genesis 22:1-2
1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” (NKJV) For further study, Genesis 22
Prayer Focus: God, I see from this story that even my family should not come before You. God, I ask You to change and correct any relationships that I have that are not right in Your eyes, especially the ones where I have put family before You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray this. Amen.
November 20th – Acts 3:6
6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (NKJV) For further study, Acts 3
Prayer Focus: Father, I want to have the same faith for health and healing as this man. Please increase my faith that I may receive everything that You have for me. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
