Ministry For Children With Special Needs: We are pleased to announce the beginning of a ministry to meet the needs of our children with special needs. We will need lots of help as we begin the first step: a shadow program where trained volunteers will guide children with special needs in their age-appropriate classroom to get the most from the Bible lesson and share in relationship with God. This class is designed to provide a physical, emotional, and spiritual workout within a two hour time frame, 45 min – 1 hour of workout followed by an hour of fellowship. Pure Heart’s 1st Annual Turkey Challenge! We are in need of 750 turkeys for our holiday food boxes and regional outreaches to the Navajo Reservation. We would like to challenge every family in the church to bring a turkey in to make our goal of 750! Bring all donations to the mission counter in the lobby or to the Food Pantry in the 700 building. Volunteers are needed to help with Holiday Box Distribution Days on 11/20-11/21 and 12/18-12/19. Sign-up at the mission counter if interested!
