October 10^th – John 4:13-14:42
13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." 42 Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world." (NKJV) For further study, John 4

Prayer Focus: Lord, I see from the story that she had to tell those she knew that she had found “The Messiah” and they came and believed. Help me to share my faith like she did. In Jesus’ name I ask this. Amen.

October 11^th – John 7:37-39
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. Prayer Focus: Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and with the power I need to overcome my fears and share the gospel with the people I know. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

October 12^th – Acts 16:31-34
31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household. Prayer Focus: God, I want to see my whole family saved and set free from a life of sin and bondage. Help me to tell them how You saved me in a way that they will hear it. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

October 13^th – Matthew 28:9-10
9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me." (NKJV) For further study, Matthew 28

Prayer Focus: God, as they saw the empty tomb and then Jesus as risen Lord they had to go tell their friends and family what they had witnessed. Make me a witness to my friends and family. I want to see them in heaven. Help me be effective. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

October 14^th – Mark 7:35-37
35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. 36 Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. 37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak." (NKJV) For further study, Mark 7

Prayer Focus: God, when they saw Your power heal someone they could not keep silent they had to tell the people that they knew. Lord, help me to share my faith in You as boldly as they did. In Jesus name I ask this. Amen.

October 15^th – Mark 5:18-20
18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. 19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you." 20 And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. (NKJV) For further study, Mark 5

Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, Jesus told the man who was possessed to “go home and tell your friends what the Lord has done”. Father help me to tell the great things that You have done in my life, make my words effective. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

October 16^th – Acts 4:31
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. (NKJV) For further study, Acts 4

Prayer Focus: God, I need the boldness to tell others about You. Please grant me the boldness and fill me with Your Holy Spirit so I can reach those that are lost and tell them about Jesus. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
