September 26th – Acts 1:14
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. (NKJV) For further study, Acts 1
Prayer Focus: God, please bring a new unity of being in “one accord” to all that attend Pure Heart. Help us become one and follow You. In Your Son Jesus Christ’s name we ask this. Amen.
September 27th – Mark 1:32-34
32 At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. 33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. 34 Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him. (NKJV) For further study, Mark 1
Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, let all of us at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship unite and reach the entire city of Phoenix with the good news that Jesus came and saved us and let us come in His full power to save deliver and heal this broken city. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this. Amen.
September 28th -1 Thessalonians 5:9-11
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. (NKJV) For further study, 1 Thessalonians 5
Prayer Focus: Lord, allow me to be one that comforts and edifies others and is a blessing to the body of Christ. In the name of Jesus I ask this. Amen.
September 29th – Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, 25 not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (AMP) For further study, Hebrews 10
Prayer Focus: God, keep me connected to You and to the body of Christ. Let me not forsake the assembling of ourselves together to worship You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
September 30th – Acts 2:46-47
46 And day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread [including the Lord's Supper]. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts, 47 constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding [to their number] daily those who were being saved [from spiritual death]. Prayer Focus: Lord God, show me how to be connected to other believers in a healthy way, praising You and fellowshipping with a united purpose. In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
October 1st - Philippians 2:1-4
1Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Prayer Focus: Father, I wish to be someone that is not selfish, putting others needs before my own. Help me to be a blessing to my Christian brothers and sisters. I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
October 2nd – Psalms 133:1
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (NKJV) For further study, Psalms 133
Prayer Focus: God, help me to be someone that lives in unity with the body of Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
