August 29th – Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (NKJV) For further study, Ephesians 2
Prayer Focus: Lord God, I want to do those works You have prepared for me. Help me to see what it is I am to do and fill me with Your wisdom and love so that I can do it. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
August 30th – John 15:5
5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJV) For further study, John 15
Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, I confess that apart from You I can do nothing. Help me to abide in You and look to You for direction in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
August 31st – Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (NKJV) For further study, Romans 8
Prayer Focus: God, sometimes from my view it seems that things in my life are not going to be good at all. Help me to trust You that all the events of my life will work together for my good. Thank You. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
September 1st – Jeremiah 18:6
6 "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?" says the LORD. "Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel! (NKJV) For further study, Jeremiah 18
Prayer Focus: Father in Heaven, I accept Your plan for my life, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who made salvation possible through His death on the cross. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
September 2nd – Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV) For further study, Philippians 3 & 4
Prayer Focus: Lord, write this verse on the tablet of my heart that I will always have faith in You in any situation. I pray this in Your Son Jesus’ name. Amen.
September 3rd – Psalms 8:4-6
4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. (NKJV) For further study, Psalms 8
Prayer Focus: God, I thank You and praise You because You care for me and love me even with all my faults and sins. You are worthy to be praised. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
September 4th – Ephesians 2:4-8
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. (NKJV) For further study, Ephesians 2 & 3
Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and grace through which I find my salvation and Your kindness toward us in Jesus Christ who died in my place. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
