August 1st – Exodus 20:15
15 You shall not steal. (NKJV) For further study, Exodus 20
Prayer Focus: Father, please show me if there is anything in my life that is stealing in Your eyes. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
August 2nd – Proverbs 6:30
30 People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving. (NKJV) For further study, Proverbs 6
Prayer Focus: Lord, help me to forgive anyone that has stolen anything from me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
August 3rd – Romans 2:21
21 You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? (NKJV) For further study, Romans 2
Prayer Focus: Father, forgive me if there is anything in my life that I have taken and not repented for. Show me how to make it right before You. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son I pray. Amen.
August 4th – Leviticus 19:11
11 You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another. (NKJV) For further study, Leviticus 19
Prayer Focus: Lord, heal this country from all the ways that people steal through dealing falsely and through deceit, in government and in business. Lead us to repentance. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
August 5th - Ephesians 4:28
28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. (NKJV) For further study, Ephesians 4
Prayer Focus: God, please have mercy and return people to work, that can work and if there are those that can work and do not work and collect money falsely, expose them so that they stop stealing. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
August 6th – Zechariah 5:3
3 Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off from henceforth according to it [the curse written on this subject on the scroll], and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off from henceforth according to it. (AMP) For further study, Zechariah 5
Prayer Focus: Father, turn the hearts of people in this country away from stealing and back to righteousness. Show us how to repent, that You may lift any curses that are on this country for the sins of stealing. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
August 7th – Deuteronomy 5:19
19 You shall not steal. (NKJV) For further study, Deuteronomy 5
Prayer Focus: Lord, may the people that are called by Your name depart from stealing in any way, shape, or form, including stealing from You. In Jesus’ name I ask this. Amen.
