June 13th – Numbers 21:7
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people. (NKJV) For further study, Numbers 21

Prayer Focus: Father, thank You for Your mercy and goodness in my life. Help me to walk away from the sin in my life that I may walk in the blessings that You have for me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.


June 14th – Luke 18:11-13
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men — extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ (NKJV) For further study, Luke 18

Prayer Focus: God, thank You for Your patience in my life. Help me to be honest and straight forward as the tax collector was. Thank You for Your Son Jesus who paid the price for my sins; teach me Your ways. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.


June 15th – 1 Samuel 1:10-11
10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish. 11 Then she made a vow and said, "O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head." (NKJV) For further study, 1 Samuel 1

Prayer Focus: Lord, from this story it is obvious that You answer prayer. Help me to never underestimate what You can do and help me have the faith to ask the big things when I should. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.


June 16th – Acts 4:31
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. (NKJV) For further study, Acts 4

Prayer Focus: Heavenly Father, I need Your Holy Spirit just like these people that prayed and the place was shaken. Fill me with Your Spirit and the power that comes through Your Spirit to serve you. In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.


June 17th – 2 Kings 4:32-33
32 When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed. 33 He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the LORD. (NKJV) For further study, 2 Kings 4

Prayer Focus: God, nothing is beyond Your touch, You are Lord of all, even death is not a problem to You. Help me always remember that whatever I see before me You are in control and I can trust You. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.


June 18th – Acts 16:25-26
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. (NKJV) For further study, Acts 16

Prayer Focus: Lord, I praise You and honor You even when I face hard things You are still worthy of praise. Help me to always praise You and thank You for everything. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.


June 19th – 2 Kings 6:17
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. NKJV For further study, 2 Kings 6

Prayer Focus: Father, sometimes I have doubts and am concerned when really if I could see all You do I would not fear. Lord, I want to trust in You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
